PRODUCTION OF ARTIFICIAL STONE FACING TILES

Day 1. THEORY: Introduction and General Information

Topic 1: Artificial Stone. Composition. History of Creation. Applications.
Topic 2: Equipment Required for Vibratory Pressing
Topic 3: Types of Press Molds Available. Service Life and Product Characteristics
Topic 4: Characteristics and Description of ConcreteRealStone Products (Strength Indicators).

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Topic 5: Main Types of Artificial Stone Products Available and Their Purposes
Topic 6: ConcreteRealStone Product Recipe. Components and Mixing Proportions
Topic 7: Principles for Calculating Product Quantities for Each Specific Project

PRACTICE:

Production of Canyon Forge and Sunbaked Ridge tiles in one mold (2.3 square feet) without tinting – gray.

Day 2. THEORY: Coloristics (coloring stone and methods for giving it a natural color)

Topic 1: Principles and main types of coloring artificial stone. Recommendations for coloring stone depending on its operating conditions
Topic 2: Basic methods for obtaining specific colors by mixing different pigments. Principles of obtaining basic stone colors by mixing various pigments
Topic 3: The most popular colors of artificial stone and what to consider when choosing a stone color

 

PRACTICE: Corner production using Brickland Classic and Ivory Edge clinker tiles
PRACTICE: Production of colored tiles using two methods (with a colored mold and with a colored mixture) using Canyon Forge tiles

Day 3. THEORY:
Topic 1. Common mistakes in tile production and how to avoid them
Topic 2. Potential product markets

PRACTICE: Independent production of tiles and corners, color selection based on photos of two projects: fireplace cladding and cladding of a building base and columns.
